[Groop] Wondercongratulations!

Hi guys/grrls!

Wondercon's very first panel was "The Sergio and Mark Show."
According to my rough count, approximately 45 people were
in the audience.  Not sure if Paul Dini was in the audience the
entire time, but he was there at the end.  Fun panel!  Covered
a lot of interesting history: how Mark and Sergio first met,
Angelo Torres' dropping off his first MAD artwork, how MAD
marginals came about, Mark's work for Jack Kirby, insults and
satires, the puppet show issue, Boogeyman, how to get fired
by Stan Lee ...

Two people in the audience were videotaping the panel.  One
person in the second row forgot how to hit "record" on the
camcorder, and hit all of the buttons.  Missed recording the first
5-10 minutes.  O.k., that was me, but I'll never admit it.  Oops!

At Sergio's table, a person who was hearing impaired asked how
much a sealed box of Groo trading cards cost.  Sergio told him
the cost in sign languange.  The person's translator was very im-
pressed!  (So was I!)  The person bought the sealed box.
Probably pulled a sketch card out of the first pack ...
