[Groop] Footwear Help

Hey, it's Claire!  I'd get a pair of tan/brown sandles or flip flops to wear.  (the closer the shoes match your skin color the better)  I don't think footwear is going to really detract from your costume though.  If you have everything else together and looking good then what you have on your feet won't matter. *smile*

  Well, I'm almost done with my Chakaal costume for Mid-Ohio Con.  I just have the belt and sword left to do yet.  This leaves me with one little quandary:  Chakaal does not wear shoes.  There are several reasons I can think of to not go running around a con barefoot (reinforced titanium flooring, the sticky residue of all those people, getting my toes squished, and what if they have a "no shoes, no shirt, no Sergio" policy?).  

  Anyone have any suggestions of how to do the barefoot character look without actually going footwear-free?
