Another Japanese famous name in comics is  Doraemon.... I had a friend 
studied in  Japan a couple of years ago in the home city of Doreamon's 
creator... he said that in that city, there was a museum dedicated for 
Doraemon and at his University, there was a professor who is an expert 
in Doraemon...  Maybe when Groo is translated into Japanese... it might 
penetrate the Japanese market... as most Japanese don't understand 
English as in other countries that Groo had already conqured.....
