I've been busy recently with the birth of my baby daughter on May 20th
(3:46PM, 8 lbs. 4 oz., 21.5"), so I haven't had time to do more than peruse
e-mail. But I did want to send to thanks:
1) Gary - I got the package. They look great!
2) John Astill - I also got the package - it looked great as well (just
need a few more to finish)!
I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but my wife took my Groo siege poster
down out of it's cheap frame that I got at Target and had it professionally
framed for my birthday. I didn't notice it as it used to be in the room
with my computers, but that room is now the nursery and I didn't spend a lot
of time in there until recently. Anyway, there's something about that
poster (which is now over the couch in the living room) that my daughter
loves to look at - it could be the colors, the pencils, the action - I just
don't know but she likes it. I'm sure she'll enjoy the comics eventually as
well.
Okay, that's the end of my semi-annual e-mail. Thanks for reading.

Ah yes, I did forget to mention her name isn't Grooella, Groo, Granny Groo,
or even Princess Thaiis. Her name is Laura Eve Klein - her mother chose
Laura and I chose Eve after my mother who just passed away a little over a
year ago. Who knows, we still might have a chance for a boy with another
child and I'll throw in the name Groo and see how she reacts to it.

What is that about Dondi vs Groo on a farm? Is Irwin Hasen drawing it?
