The Comic Con web site will have a mailing address for people to mail
in a -photocopy- of their entry. The mailing address is not listed at the
Comic Con web site yet.

So far, 4 brave and talented people have volunteered to create an entry
for the Comic Con souvenir book (which will reach 100,000 comic book
fans):

1. Gary
2. Larry
3. Dougie
4. Conor

Anyone else??

Ahoy!

I'd definitely be up for drawing some Groo Fan Art (whether it's printed or
not, heh heh)!
Groo and Archie comics were pretty much the only comics I read as a kid, and
Mr. Aragones' art style (and Mr. Evanier's Groo-Grams humour) had an
especially big influence on my mushy child-brain.

You can see some non-Groo-related images of mine at the following links (if
you so desire). I draw cartoons for fun, and even though I do try to vary
their 'visual style', I've been told that the Aragones-influence does tend
to slither in to the pictures every so often, heh heh, but you can decide
for yourself:

And here's a short comic that I recently did for a friend's comic-book
anthology. I had to draw it in one day, so - as much as it pains me to admit
this, I ended up using some well-known Groo staples (like the 'intro
banners', the looseness of the line art, and I even based the look of the
dragon on my memories of the dragons in Groo), because I simply couldn't
think of anything better. I revile un-originality, so hopefully by admitting
to the influences, I can 'clear some of the karma':

(and if you're wondering why it's signed "by CogNoman": I use that alias
when I draw cartoons, partly because my real name is impossible to
spell...."cognoman" is latin for "nickname").

So, yeah. We have 3.5 months to sketch up a little black & white piece of
Groo Fan Art?
I think I can do that.

One question, though: What should I do with it when I finish it? Post it on
the Dark Horse forums?

Thanks!
