Thanks Gary.....I guess my best chance for a sketch is to go to a con.....I
hope there's a con on the east coast he'll appear at.....an "8 x"11 sized
sheet of paper would also be good to slide as a cover to a card binder....I hope
he goes to a con in Florida soon!!!

Mark can correct me on anything I say below that's wrong but...
1. Do you guys think that Sergio would be open to sketch a cover for binders
if we send them to him? If he would do them for any fee or any costs he
might have for him to produce a personalized sketch for the loyal Groop
members who collect the Groo cards?
Well, no. See, that sort of thing takes things from the
something-for-the-fans department and into the business-side-of-things department and that
department gets complicated.
2. How many are we in the Groop anyway? 20-30 members??
Actually, I think it's closer to 150-200, but most are lurkers.
3. I don't know if he has a policy for sketch requests by mail...
He doesn't do them. He can't do them. If he did he would never have time
to do his work.
Try to make it to a Con that Sergio goes to. Make the trek to WonderCon or
San Diego. He'll do a little sketch in a Groo book or if you want more he'll
do a drawing over night at a price that is determined by what you want. (If
you can't find an already done drawing for sale in his book that he will
personalize for you.)
4. but I would definitely pay for one of Sergio's fast Groo and Rufferto
sketches on a binder.
If you get to a Con, he will do a quick little Groo & Rufferto sketch on
your binder, especially if you tell him you are a Groopie. I saw him sign a
coffe mug, a baseball, a shoe, and a sling at the Con this year.
Any type of sketch of Sergio's would be a beautiful cover presentation for
the Trading card collection we loyal Groop fans have in out collections. I
would pay extra for a Chakkal and Dakarba too!
I like that Card promo on the cover idea. I'm gonna do that myself.
Gary, do you know if Wildstorm ever had any plans to produce any kind
of binder for the trading cards??
I don't know, but they didn't produce one, so my guess is no. btw, it was
Sergio & Marks intention that they be stored as Ryan described so the
multicard drawings could be appreciated.
Take care all -Gary G.
