Hi Folks!
In an effort to keep the number of my posts down (Ha!) I'll answer Ryan,
Tone, and Eric in one message:
I haven't heard anything about Mark not following through mailing back
cards. Some people are just impatient. Mark has had his Mom's health
problems to take care of, his own health situation, and, oh yeah, doing
things that actually produce income. He just recently, on this very list,
mentioned the Groo Card exchange. So that means it's still going. People
just need to chill and be patient.
I have no idea how many Images of Groo cards were made. There were supposed
to be one in every 7 packs, but it never seemed to work out that way. Boxes
of 36 usually did not have 5 IG cards in them. 3 was more typical if I
recall. btw, there were 25 IG card sheets that Sergio sold at cinventions
until they were gone.
I think Eric is correct. I think Sergio had a couple Sketch cards at one
point. Some guy who got one was trying sell it on ebay as an even more
special card! Anywho, whether it's 50 or 55 or 60, it's still mighty darn
rare.
Finally, even though I can't afford it, I will be at San Diego for Thursday,
Friday, and Saturday.
Take care all - Gary G. (sending this from somewhere else I can't afford to
be)
