[Groop] WWN News

Hi Janet & Everyone Else!

I finally got around to reading the WWN article in which Sergio is accused
of sending secret messages to the Aliens through his drawings in preparation
for their inevitable invasion. (Although since I believe the WWN said the
sun would blow up in 18 months, I hardly think it matters). I'm sure that
as a result of this article, Sergio is now being watched by the FBI, CIA,
NSA, and a bunch of other initials.

Since it's been printed in the WWN, "the nations only relaible newspaper,"
it must be true, and the whole sun blowing up thing notwithstanding, it's
one more good reason to be a Groo fan. When the invasion comes, as it
certainly will, all we have to do is hold up a Groo Comic to an alien that
is about to vaporize us and he, she, or it will back off since that will
show that we are a FOS (Friend of Sergio). In fact, I have a confession to
make. One of the secret purposes of the Groop Membership card is to flash
at invading Aliens as an easy to carry FOS I.D. card. I also suggest that
everyone paint a likeness of Sergio on the roof (the entire roof) of their
house so the aliens know not to zap it.

Of course, the real reason the Aliens are not going to zap Sergio or his
friends and fans is not because they need him to help plan out their
invasion. It's really because, just like the rest of us, they want to see
Groo vs. Conan.

Take care all -Gary G.
