Hey Gary, here's another one for your Groo Drawn By Other People list
- a Groo comic makes an appearance in the last panel of the online
comic strip Diesel Sweeties from yesterday:

Diesel Sweeties creator R Stevens is a huge Groo fan - I quote from
his news post that went along with that strip:

"You may notice a shout-out to my favorite comic of all-time in the
background of the last panel. Groo the Wanderer is awesome and was one
of the two first comic books I collected regularly as a kid. Normally
we Dumbrella dudes only work and skip events at the San Diego
Comic-Con, but Johnny A. and I always make a point to try and get to
the Mark & Sergio Groo panel. The last time I actually cried a tear of
joy was meeting Sergio in 2001. Don't tell anyone that, OK? It's
between you and me."

See?  There's Groo fans all over the internet...!

P.S. For those who may be concerned about such matters, Diesel
Sweeties is a very cool comic strip, but does sometimes contain
content more suitable for mature audiences...
