[Groop] The Battle of the Groo Fans

Hi Folks!
Ouch! I remember that battle! Steve knocked out my tooth that had the
filling shaped like Groo's head! Three hours later it showed up on ebay and
I had to buy it back with a huge bid to beat out Chris H. (Promethea) and
wolvergeek (whoever he is! Maybe my dentist.)
Anywho, I remember in the early days of the Groop I had a simulated boxing
match about who had the best collection with Shane, who almost scored a
first round knockout with his Groo Sketch card. I managed to stagger
through the round (barely) and come back strong with my International Groos
and some other things he didn't have. But it was brutal!!!
btw, its taking me a long time to put togtehr the Groo List because 1) I
have no time and 2) The Other Groo Appearances and Groo by Others sublists
are years out of date. Plus after I sorted things out into different stacks
and started putting things away, I still have a "Why the heck do I have
this?" pile.
Anywho, it will be ready soon. And I think I'm going to take Greg "The Kiwi
Who is Grooless in Saudi Arabia" Crahill's advice and put the Original Groo
Adventures section in a different format.
It sure has been fun going through all this stuff!!!
Take care all -Gary G.
