[Groop] GROO THE WANDERER PORCELAIN ORNAMENT SERGIO ARAGONES

Since John T. brought it up and Andrew promised to outbid anyone
on it, I am just wondering who in the Groop bid on the Groo Ornament
eBay auction? If people were watching the Ornament auction and have not
put two-and-two together, my eBay name is MoonShineGraffx, the winner.
I am particularly curious if eBay user "humptybogart" is in the
Groop. I am curious because not that long ago I had watched a Groo
Ornament auction won by Yodazone in the Groop, where "humptybogart" was
the second highest bidder at just under $104. After watching that
auction I figured I should bid at least that high on this auction, and
obviously that worked out.

I guess I am also interested in what Groop member's names are on
eBay. I know a few Groopy eBay names, but I am guessing there must be
many more on eBay. Back when the last Groo Ornament was on auction I
specifically did not put in a bid against Yodazone even though I was way
bummed. I e-mail with Yodazone occasionally apart from the Groop, and I
definitely did not want to get into a bidding war with him. If I had, I
know it would have gotten crazy, with only one of us winning at an
unnecessary inflated price.
This time around on the Groo Ornament auction, I put in a low
bid early on when I did not recognize the first bidder's name
(especially since that eBayer seemed new with only a 9 feedback score).
I tend to place a minor bid as a "marker" on auctions I am interested in
when I first see them. That way people, who might know me or actually
strategize by looking back at bidder's past feedback and auctions, might
see I do not waste my time on things I could care less about. Clearly
the Groo Ornament is not one of those things. In fact my ultimate bid
was significantly higher than what I won the auction at.
I guess I figure if Groopies know what each other's eBay names
are, we can try to get along by not getting into bidding wars with each
other. That is unless of course someone in the Groop is selling
something and specifically sends a notice to the Groop to let everyone
know... or somehow a Groo hat gets miraculously listed on eBay, then I
imagine everyone would agree it is definitely fair game! :) Otherwise it
would just be more about which Groopie first sees a Groo collectible
they really want.
