eBay won't take action unless the complaint comes from the person who
actually holds the copyright.
In their view, it's the only way they can know that the person is a violator
[and that the right-holder cares...]

I guess you know he knows he's selling an illegal item?
eBay are awful at checking listings against their own rules. I complained
several times about 1 seller who was doing an illegal book auction and never
even got a reply from them. He's still doing them now.

Do you have to be registered on ebay to email the guy? I think as many of us
as possible should email this guy and let him know he's selling an illegal
item.
