That is AWESOME!!!!!!! Groo is coming back with a vengence!!!!!!

Thanks Mark!!!

quick question.....

Since the Anniversary Special is 52 pages, is it getting printed as one of
those thick "Prestige Format" edition books or as an Double-sized comic?

Any chance of Dark Horse producing any posters for the 25th Anniversary this
year?

Great news about the Magnor too....hopefully Dark Horse will follow that
collection with "Space Circus" trade one day soon......

Okay, here's something semi-official...

In a week or so, Dark Horse will announce a book called GROO 25TH
ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL, which will come out in August of this year. It
will be 52 pages, all or almost all of it new. There will be a long
Groo story and a feature called "The Groo Alphabet" (incorporating a
suggestion or two from the gang here) and some sort of odd text
feature I haven't figured out yet.

That's in August. In September, we put out the first issue in a
four-issue mini-series called GROO: HELL ON EARTH. Same format as all
the other four-issue mini-serieses of the past.

As soon as we know for sure that we have the film of the old issues,
we'll be announcing a publication date for THE GROO PARADE. This will
continue the Epic reprints except that there will be eight issues in
this volume and it will sell for a little higher price. I have to go
look up and figure out which eight issues will be in it.

We have also cleared what I think is the last hurdle to doing GROO
MEETS CONAN or whatever we're going to call it. I would guess that
will be out early in 2008.

So at long last, you have a lot of GROO coming. We should also be
announcing shortly a trade paperback reprinting the six issues of
MAGNOR.

That's all for now. Don't spread this around. Let's let Dark Horse
put the information in public forums when they're ready. But Sergio
and I are grateful for all your support and patience and we wanted you
to know right away.
