I've been re-reading some of my Groo comics while waiting for the 25th Anniversary issue to arrive. Last night I was reading Image #1 and the name of the ship Groo and the refugees are on caught my eye, the "Flor de Mayo". Then something clicked in my brain (my wife swears that there was a grinding sound too), and I realized that Flor de Mayo means Mayflower! Thirteen years and I finally got the joke, that has got to be a record.
