If people don't mind leaving the con area... there are the Fashion Valley and
Mission Valley malls, both of which are accessible by trolley and which have
restaurants with reasonable/kid friendly menus. Old Town is likewise
accessible by trolley, but I'm not sure what all is there since the sell-out of Bazaar
Del Mundo. The Mission Valley Costco "mall" (Fenton Parkway Plaza) also has
several restaurants, and I think the trolley stops there (in the back, behind
the library). Hotel Circle itself... probably not a great idea-- there are
"overflow" hotels there for the con, and you'd need a car to get to most of the
restaurants. Personally, my plans are to leave the car at home/take the trolley
Th-Sat to avoid traffic and parking problems.
