Do people wear costumes to the Con? Or, would I stand out (even more than
being a Groo fanatic) if I wore one?
What costumes are the rest of you planning? I can dress up as a computer
nerd (er, did I say dress up?) since that comes natural to me... or as a
monk or a scuba diver...
I am already exited and am in contact with my relative to see how long we
can invade his private space mooching off of him and his wife while we are
there...
If I do volunteer, would I miss the Groop excitement? I definitely do not
want to miss Sergio and the gang! Maybe I ought to attend the first one
normally (or as normal as one can at a comics con) and maybe volunteer in
the future...
I plan on being down there for the entire week so my kids can enjoy Sea
World and San Diego Zoo...
I love pizza but we don't have to avoid other places because of me... my
kids and wife can enjoy the pool or some other event for the party (maybe I
don't want my wife to know what we do at the party?)

I think Kaytee's idea of a pizza party as a Groop get together is a great
idea. Saves looking for a restaurant that everyone likes and then Myron
doesn't have to worry about the kids. Everyone likes pizza, right? If not,
people can BYOF.
Hey Myron, I have a great idea for you. Make an Octopus costume with each
one of your kids at the end of a tentacle (So you'll be one short. Big
deal.) That way you will be able to keep track of them, since they will be
attached to you. If somebody asks what your costume is for, say your are the
giant octopus that destroys the Golden Gate Bridge in that Ray Harryhausen
movie. You might even win a prize!
I'm sure if i think about it a little bit, I can come up with stupid ideas
for everyone!
But I'm just so excited!!
