I think you can legally scan all of your Groo comics and
write them to a DVD for your own use, and not for distribution.
Might be a good idea, too, before the Epic Groo comics fade
into oblivion.  A good scanner costs less than $100.

I've already begun buying the Groo TPBs and throwing
away the Epic Groo comics that the Groo TPBs reprint
(because the Epic Groo comics have faded so much that
they are barely readable).  The Groo TPBs are printed on
much better paper!
