Well, for me the process goes

1) Decide jet pack needs to be degaussed (2 minutes)

2) Decide to degauss jet pack (2days)

3) Actually make time to degauss jet pack (2 weeks)

4) Find  jet pack degausser (2 hours)

5) Degauss jet pack (5 seconds - I'm slow)
