I guess he does caricatures more often at cons other than San Diego
where things are not so hectic. There is usually a line at San Diego
and he usually turns down requests for caricatures.
But, yes, obviously the taste factor is the biggest issue in this care.

Sergio will do a caricature of you for a sketch. When you request it,
he'll quickly draw a rough sketch of you from the front and from the
side (profile) for reference.
The sketch request mentioned below is just in very, very poor taste.
