[Groop] Big Apple Con Saturday Report

Larry, Larry, Larry!

You made the biggest mistake any Groo fan can make!

You THOUGHT about it too much!

Not only did you think yourself out of what would have been a very
pleasant lunch with Mark, you probably gave yourself a headache in the
process.

-Gary G.

PS I mean gee, if you'd thought about whether it made any sense to come
with me to LA that time in search of obscure Groo sightings, you would
have realized it was insane and not come... Oh, uh, wait a sec. That's
a bad example. Thinking would have been a good idea on that one.
Nevermind.

	OK let get this right...
you had a chance to have lunch with M.E. and you let a little
thing like already eating get in the way....
LUNCH WITH M.E. is on my dream things to do (go to my webpage)
so ya I said you ERR... :)

Yes, Awkwardman strikes again!

I felt at that moment that once I said I ate already, I'd be a silly
fanboy to backtrack and go to lunch again, "JUST" to hang out with him.

Actually, that's where I was wrong!

Really, if it was Gary, or Eric, or any of you guys, if it was a friend
from home or whatever, I would have said "Yes, I've eaten but I'll go to
lunch with you anyway" and no one woould have thought anything of it. So
in that respect, NOT going to lunch with him was MORE of a silly fanboy
thing to do.

See what happens when you worry too much about doing the "right" thing?
