[Groop] OT Xbox 360

Sean,
            I am totally down with the Halo scene. I have all three Halo
games. My gamer tag is "Tone 8" (or "Tone8"??, I forget whether it has a
space or not.) In fact I use to host Halo LAN parties on my network at
my old apartment in Brooklyn. Usually it involved 3-6 people on three
consoles in two rooms, but once we had about a dozen people on four
consoles in three rooms! Now that I have moved to Pennsylvania I found
and joined a local LAN gaming mailing list. Unfortunately most of the
people are into PC gaming not consoles. However, there is one more
significant problem I have.
            Uhm. actually a few problems, which is ironic since it all
seems to coincide with the release of Groo's 25th anniversary special.
My normal Xbox died, but I planned on buying an Xbox 360 when Halo 3
came out and I secured a job. Well, the good news is I got a job and
started working this past Monday! The bad news is I pre-ordered Halo 3,
but I purchased the limited edition version, of which many seem to have
scratched up discs due to bad tin-case design. Both the one I
pre-ordered and exchanged had scratched discs, so now I must wait to
replace my discs directly with Microsoft.
            You can definitely bet I will be paging you on Xbox Live
when I am back up and running! Feel free to send me a premature message
or e-mail me off list if you want to talk about it more. I am dying to
get into Halo 3!! :-)
