Hey Eli! The Long horned bull in the Guayabera shirt is "Bull Morrison"
based on the series writer Bill Morrison (from the Simpsons, Futurama & Bongo
Comics fame).
So far, the whole "Groo Crew" has a cameo in the issue!
Sergio Anetlopes - based on Sergio
Bark Evanier - mentioned as host of the "Sandy Eggo's Golden Age panels"
Tom "Loopy' Luth - the colorist for the series
& Stan Sakai's hair - located in the bottom page of the huge Con crowd scene
(if you check the black and white scan in the Groo forums, you might see a
little more of his character)

Also, in the bottom of page 6, there are one 2 characters holding 2 comics
while walking away from Sergio Antelopes' booth and on the cover of one of the
comics looks to feature a small Groo with a beak! Groo cameo! The other
comic has a title of "Goo" and looks like it's a dog on the cover but not
sure if that's a type of Rufferto dog...
Great Captain Carrot comic! Highly recommend to Groo fans!!
Hope this gets a sequel or an ongoing series soon!

It is Sergio Antelopes! I only saw the first five pages posted by Yodazone
and on the second seen here
http://www.newsarama.com/dcnew/C_Carrot/CATCAR1-2.jpg, there is a longhorn bull who I thought was the Sergio Aragones
character, but now that I have the comic in hand I realize he is an antelope. So,
who is the longhorn bull in the bottom right wearing the Guayabera? Perhaps
that was going to be Sergio and then they changed their mind. Enjoy the furry
animals fighting eachother! New Groo comes out next month I'm told by my
local comic keeper.
Eli Stamp the Wanderer
The only thing to fear is Groo himself!
