OMG!!!

I got an email from an editor at the Schmapp online travel guide saying
that they wanted to use one of my pictures from my Flickr page in their
online travel guide. I said sure, what the hell, it's a cool pic! It's
me in a Hawaiian shirt during th All Star Game Rehearsals at Yankee
Stadium.

See, for the game's broadcast they needed to rehearse the Opening
Ceremonies for the cameras, to get timing, angles, etc. down pat. As a
funny coincidence, on three different days, three different people who
I didn't know each randomly assigned me to stand in for Chipper Jones
of the Atlanta Braves. What are the odds, right? Funny thing is, his
real name is Larry. too!

Here's where my built-in Weirdness Magnet comes into play, as if that
coincidence wasn't enough! I captioned the pic to say "...playing Third
Base for the National League, from the Atlanta Braves, Chipper
Jones!!!"

Well, they used the pic in their ATLANTA Travel Guide to illustrate
Turner Field! They think I am Chipper Jones, and that Yankee Stadium is
Turner Field! How hysterical is that!?
