[Groop] Sad News as I'm off to Wonder Con

I am very excited about heading off to SF and Wonder Con, but received a bit
bad news today.

 

My comic store for the last 5 years is packing it in.

 

They will be open till the end of March.

 

This is the 7th store I've let go of in 30 plus years of collecting

 

They are:

 

The Book Gallery

Iron Horse Comics

Super Hero Universe (Providence store)

Starship Excalibur (I help open and close that store)

Earthworld Comics

Rah-CoCo's (To be fair, Rah-CoCo is still there, but wasn't the same after
Colleen left)

Now, Shadowland Comics

 

I guess I'm lucky because there are at least two very good stores close by,
and several very bad stores.

 

I'm contemplating going to an on-line subscription service, but I feel I
should support my local small business. 

 

Though any on-line service is a small business too.
