I actually have around 10 minutes and 4 seconds of video
taken from my digital camera, starting with Sergio's current
projects and ending with the 1st question. The 1st 8 min-
utes and 25 seconds (Sergio's current projects) are already
on youtube.com. Coincidentally, your question about the
Groo/Usagi crossover was the 1st question, so I have it.
However, I had to trim it off, since the youtube video length
limit is 10 minutes. (Missed it by -that- much! 4 seconds.)
If there's overwhelming interest, I can put your question on
youtube. At the moment, except for around 3 people, there
doesn't seem to be any interest in the entire panel at all.

>Did you video tape the panel, Eric?

I saw 2 people with camcorders and a 3rd person with a
digital camera videotaping the entire panel. (They weren't
me.) I didn't have my tripod with me, so I didn't capture
the entire panel.

Sorry, I looked around the room a few times, but didn't re-
cognize anyone. Might want to submit a photo:

His objective interpretation of this "obsess-" ... I mean,
"intense interest" appears to be correct. Or as Gary would
say, "I agree." However, Gary would not agree ....

Well, So much for my Con reports. It was
pretty much covered in both articles. Although the CBR article had some
misquotes that changed the meanings around and got facts wrong. (it was 20 kids
around 12, not kids in their 20’s, in the meeting Mark section). I can
see why people say they are misquoted in papers now. The gist of the stories
was right. I was the fan who asked about a Groo/Usagi crossover. I don’t
buy Sergio’s explanation, but it’s his, so I respect it.

Shawn the Girl and her friend, John, were there.

Did you video tape the panel, Eric? If it
was you, or whoever did, I wish had introduced yourself. I had my hat and Motor
City Tee on.

I also meet Scott
Hudlow after a few miscommunications on the cells. It turned out I wasn’t
able to stay all day, so we didn’t hook up for dinner or anything. Scott was a nice guy, but I think he accused of most
us who need to get everything of being crazy. Or at least that was his inference.

Sergio seemed to busy all day. I didn’t
even get chance to get a photo with him. There seemed always to be a line, and
I didn’t want to hold things up. He did do another ACEO for me. I’ll
post it on my blog, http://groo230.blogspot.com/

My friend Ed also did an ACEO of Sergio. I
wanted to get it signed but Sergio was whisked away to another panel before I
could.

During the Con, I told maybe 10 to 15
people about the Groop. While all were Sergio fans, there wasn’t an enthusiastic
response. One guy wanted to know if we had mailing address as he didn’t
own a computer. (So Gary
if you start getting some strange mail…) Anyway, we leave. So we get my
friend apartment and are in the garage.
There is an older couple taking stuff out their car, and we hold the
elevator for them. The gentleman asks if were at Wonder Con, because he notices
my Hellboy 2/Dark Horse bag. Then the woman noticed hat and shirt. “Oh! I
love Groo, I have all the issues.” She asked about Sergio. I told her
about the Groop and she said she would look us up. So, if you are out there,
introduce yourself. We love hearing from new Groopies.

Peace Out, All
