Not sure the "all the cool kids, like the Bee Gees, are doing it" is the
best way to *increase* AA attendance....

But kudos to you, Jonny, for the positive life choice!

Cheers to Jonny and Ryan!

Supposedly alcohol addiction is hard to break free of, and you might
need a support group (like Alcoholics Anonymous). Maurice Gibb
(of the Bee Gees) attended their meetings every day.

Outside the studio, Gibb's life was complicated by his struggles with
alcoholism. He suffered a relapse after the 1988 death of younger
brother and solo star Andy Gibb, but soon got back on the wagon.
In a 2001 interview, Maurice told USA TODAY that he still attended
Alcoholics Anonymous meetings daily. "I live every day as an
alcoholic," Gibb said. "There are just two days a week I don't worry
     about it: yesterday and tomorrow."

What an odd coincidence. I've been letting my beer indulgence get the
better of me and decided to start off the new year alcohol free myself. I'm
going for 30 days without a drop. Today is day two! I'll be saving a few
kopins this month at least.
