[Groop] ME fight

Ok. Does anyone know if the ME comic con fight really happened or not?  is it being denied for legal/ethical reasons? Was the whole story really  made up to "get the Groop talking"?  If it was fabricated, that is pretty... lame. Not because I love a good "true" fight story but the whole idea of making up a story like that just to get attention seams kinda soft.  Can anyone help blow the lid of this international debacle?  I'm loosing sleep here.
