[Groop] OMG!

Hi Folks!

In fairness to this person, he has come down from asking for $2500 and
that was apparently based on another guy trying to sell one for $2,000.
The guy trying to do that got into a bidding war the last time a card
came up on ebay and paid just short of $900 before turning around within
days and going for the $2,000. As Bugs Bunny would say "What a maroon!"

But the person trying to sell the two cards has at least now come down
to what could arguably be considered a "reasonable" price in that the
cards have gone for in the neighborhood of $500 or more a piece when
they have shown up on ebay. What I don't think he understands is that
the while the card dated '97 might be more rare in that Sergio
apparently had a few blanks (or at least one) and gave them (it) away,
to most card collectors I know it would not be considered a "real"
sketch card because it's not one of the 50 and therefore it's not really
valuable to them.

I think he's telling the truth about being desperate to pay bills and I
feel for the guy. He should put the pulled-from-the-pack sketch card up
separately.

Gary G.

What do these people think? Just because we read Groo doesn't mean we
are Groos!

The different date card must be worth more than the others though.

Mystified,
