New Groo Hardcovers would be nice. Dark Horse has been making some real
nice hardcovers for their other titles lately. They should totally make some
for Groo run.
This Dark Horse/Star Wars book they just released, for example, is a
Slipcase Hardcover that collects 832 pages of comics into a giant Leather
hardcover that weighs 11 pounds:

o-Dark-Empire-HC)
Five or six of these monsters would collect the whole Groo/Epic (1-120)
run on new glossy paper.
They could do that for Groo if they wanted to!
Maybe the recent Groo/Eisner nomination will inspire them to churn out more
spruced up collections....

I think [the reprints] should be in … the Marvel Masterworks Omnibus
[format]. Hardcovers with dustjackets and contain roughly 30 issues including
the original letters pages. *THAT* would be a Groo Treasury to shell out my
kopins for!
Yeah, something like that would be way cool. But apparently the decision
by the powers that be at DH was they would make more money selling more
copies of a less expensive publication. I have no clue whether they are
correct or not. I know Sergio has no trouble selling the hardback edition of
The Death/Life of Groo book for $30 at San Diego. They go fast.
Ah, well, we can dream…
