Hi Folks!
Yodazone & I have decided that we are going to try and account for as many Sketch cards as possible. Tone has one and somewhere along the line provided a scan that is posted on the Fear Groo Forum. (Cool little sketch of Groo dispatching a soldier.) I know Rene acquired one years ago and Shane (if you are still out there) pulled one out of a pack just like Tone did. Stan Sakai has one as well. So far, we've accounted for about a dozen.
Do any other Groopies have a Sketch card? Inquiring minds want to know. (Or at least Groo like minds of Gary G. & Yodazone) And if so, coould you send a scan? Inquiring eyes want to see!!
Also, if you run across someone showing off their sketch card on a web site, please ley us know. It will be fun to see how many we can account for. I would love to know who the dude was who Tone saw in Baltimore with two Sketch cards and her how he got them. And I know at least two of you (George & Chris) are hoarding unopenned boxes. Maybe there is a Sketch card in there, hmmm???
Ebay Update: With 17 hours to go, the collect-er-bills Sketch card is up to $283.88. It will go up, but probably not to the $886 that he bought it for last October. Meanwhile, his set of IG cards are in the $10-$12 range except from Dave Sims ($18) and Jeff Smith ($25). These prices are also low. Has the recession hit the Groo Card market?? Oh, and the poor guy from Puerto Rico is still trying to sell his two cards (one "real" from a pack and one not) for $1,000 with no takers.
Take care all,
Gary G.
