    I live in the DC area, just outside the Beltway in Northern Virginia, and will not even think of leaving the house on Inauguration Day.  The Secret Service has announced that all the bridges into DC from Virginia, and the Interstate highways inside the Beltway will be closed to traffic.  I have no idea how people will get to work to serve the visitors who walk from their hotels 20 miles away.

    They just announced that they'll allow people to walk across the bridges if they aren't carrying coolers or food or something.

  Any Groopies in the Washington DC area? My buddy and I are heading down there for the inauguration. 

  I know it would be nigh impossible to meet up. I'll be the one (of 2.5 million) in the Groo hat.

   

  We don't have any ticket to any events, but we do have a motel room in Gaithersburg. 

   

  It should be fun just to be there. I'm praying for temps in the 40F range. I doesn't look to good. If it rains/snows who knows what will happen.
