[Groop] Hogs for $3.99

Interesting.  I see other books from Dark Horse are only $2.99.   I
guess someone decided that they would make more money selling them for a
dollar more, even if they sell fewer.  

 

Maybe that's because they figure that most Groo fans are like me and
will gladly pay the extra dollar!  It will be interesting to see if it
affects the sales compared to the last Groo miniseries.  

 

I wonder how that works with respect to the creators?  Do they get a set
price for the fist X number sold and an additional amount after that?
Is it a straight x cents per copy sold?  And what about the trade
paperbacks? I have no idea how that end of the industry works.
