[Groop] Another comic (NOT Groo though)

I totally know this is a Groo-related mailing list, and I
also realize I have probably gotten on some people's nerves with my long
posts lately (I will try to keep this post short!), but when I found out
about what I am about to mention, I was pretty stoked.
What I recently learned about is a comic strip, which
totally focuses on bicycle culture/lifestyle. At this point everyone is
probably saying. "WHAT the FWAH, Tone! C'mon dude! Keep it on topic!"
For not following that to the letter I apologize, but it IS related to
comics.
Personally, the only comic I have ever read or collected
during my entire life is Groo, so finding another comic (or in this case
comic strip) I actually enjoy is pretty cool in my opinion. In any case
because it IS comic related I thought I would share my enthusiasm for it
with the Groop.
By the way, did I mention the entire on-line collection of
strips is viewable for FREE? :-)

You can of course support the artist directly via a donation
or by purchasing one of the two 6-month strip collections in a
full-color book available and printed per-order by Lulu.com. Naturally I
ordered both of course! It seems to be a daily strip starting back in
January of 2008, and it ran all the way until April 11th 2009. It
stopped at that point, but the web site clearly says it will be
returning on June 17th. kind of like how Groo took a break for a while,
huh? :-)
Anyway, the comic strip is called "Yehuda Moon & the
Kickstand Cyclery". Sometimes it is funny/cute, but other times it is
social/political or just plain weird. No matter what though, you mostly
have to be a regular cyclist to really appreciate what the strip is all
about. I commute to work almost every day and I use to work as a bike
messenger, so I relate to it pretty darn well. I know you guys probably
would NEVER want to do this. but if you ever want to get to understand
me better the Yehuda strip might give you some incite. I know that is
probably terrifying, so at least I warned you.
Best wishes to all. and as I say to my cycling buddies. ride
safe,
_TONE_
