[Groop] What does "mulch" mean?

Hello all,

I was reading an article on the Missouri extension website, when I saw this
snippet, which naturally made me think of Groo.. assuming associations like
that are natural:

"The term, mulch, whose original meaning was "rotten hay," is most likely an
extended use of a Middle English word meaning "soft, variant" which, in
turn, is derived from the Old English, mylsc which meant "mild, mellow". "

FWIW, I don't think this counts as an ancillary reference that Gary needs to
archive for his collection.

Back to my lurking.

Andy
