[Groop] Groo In Simpsons

Actually, I hadn't gotten to the searching-carefully-for-Groo stage yet with the interior of Bart Simpson #50. Generally, I read the non-Groo Sergio comics first, then go back and look for Groo if I didn't already see one. I like to think I would have found th one on page 24 since I always, always scrutize any Sergio crowd scene for Groo. Once in a while I catch myself looking for Groo in the crowd scene of a Groo comic. At that point, it's time to step away from the comic and take my medicine.

I went to the comics store yesterday to pick up Bart Simpson #50 drawn by Sergio. Much to my excitement I found another Groo cameo on page 24 in the crowd scene of the Circus. Gary, please tell me you found this one too but also forgot about it. I am starting to worry for your dessesbo-ness.

I guess I’m getting senile! I saw that once. Forgot about it. And then didn’t see it last night when I looked again.
What a Groo brain I am!

There's actually a tiny Groo & a Rufferto on the cover art. Check out the cover pic here:

Right in front of the arrow coming from the letter "A" on the "El Barto" graphitti.

I do not think there is a Groo appearance. I was little surprised there wasn’t one on the cover. But it doesn’t matter. It’s great stuff! I love the wild circus story art.

Does the Bart Simpson comic contain a Groo Appearance? I will probably get it either way.
