[Groop] Groo 1-120 on Ebay

Yes I have been watching the 1-120 run for a while. When I found it, it was at over $300 and has slowly lowered it each time with no bids. Someone just had a 1-120 run along with 1-8 of Pacific, Groo Vol 2 #1 and a few others (I think Detroyer Duck and the first appearances issues like that). It sold for $202.55....I lost it by $.55.... I only need a few issues but those few issues everyone wants $8-9 each for so it will cost me close to $100 just for those. So I figured I would try for a complete set and then sell off the issues in smaller run groups. I am waiting for this guy to go down just a little bit more than $200 on his auction. I think I only need the Groo Vol 2 #1 special, Vol 3 #111-119, and Life of Groo and I am done and I have every issue

Hey all,

Normally just a lurker, but I came across this on eBay and thought I would check in.  It's the complete 120-issue Epic/Marvel run, purported to be in NM condition.  Two summers ago -- when the money was flowing and I re-discovered Groo -- I would have been all over this.  Now, I copies of 90+ issues and money's a lot tighter.  Still, interesting to see.  Is this any of you guys?

Standard disclaimer: I have no connection to this auction or seller.  Just seemed like something the Groop should know about.

P.S. My 6-ear-old earns a free Pizza Hut personal pizza coupon each month that he reads at least 300 minutes.  I would say that Groo accounts for at least 5 pizzas over the past couple of school years.

Hi Folks!

It seems like we've all been lurking lately.  I myself have been up to
my neck in lobbyists, legislators, bill drafts, and fellow bureaucrats,
as the legislative session I am inextricably attached to has been
particularly intense this year.

Groo & Pizza!  Man, what a great combination!  I assume there is plenty
of root beer in the mix as well.

Nice layout of the 120 Groo's by the ebay guy.  Reminds me of my family
room wall.

Off Topic completely ridicules comment:  I was re-reading an old Conan
book (often stopping to think what would happen if it were Groo in the
story instead of Conan) while my wife was watching some movie with Rosie
O'Donnell playing a developmentally disabled character when I suddenly
realized that Rosie O'Donnell and Jack Black are the same person!  Has
anyone else ever noticed that?  There is no doubt in my mind.  The only
thing I can't figure out is it Rosie O'Donnell disguising herself Jack
Black, or is it Jack Black disguising himself as Rosie O'Donnell?

Take care all,  Gary G.
