[Groop] The Great Groo Storyline Question

"I am the Prince of Chichester!"

Gary: Absolutely cannot believe I included a scenario that has already been done - you'd think that with as many times as I've read and re-read and read again my collection of GROO's, that I'd remember there being an issue with a Genie (and the really scary thing is, I still cannot recall the details of that story (and me living in Ireland for the last two years without my collection of Groo is no excuse)).

Who here has played GROO: THE CARD GAME recently? I've managed to get a whole bunch of Irish youths so addicted to the game that they'll actually pass up a soccer match for the chance to play it again (apparently they find the bumbling wanderer more entertaining than a hat trick and an after-game bag of sweets). And you know what else is weird? People I've played with in California and Florida have been willing to give up their first-born child in exchange for being allowed to discard that damnable Minstrel card but the average Irish ten-year old? He'll fight you for it!

Groo, of course, finds himself among the motley assortment and despite being weaponless, proceeds to wreak havoc on both the architectural wonder that is the labyrinth and the half-bull, half-man monster that dwells at the center . . .

Along the way, they encounter white wolves, angry giants, fierce storms and a not-so-mythical sea serpent that makes the dragons in previous issues look like puppies . . .
