Forbidden Planet is THE big comic retailer in the UK. I would imagine it's low margins and also pre-order charging with interest paid.

I've pre-ordered the first issue of Conan but I'm not sure whether to pre-order the Artists edition. Sell it to me someone...(I'm not a completist, I just love the comics)
