I live in Canada and am looking for a copy of both the game and expansion as well. Only place I've found it for sale is here:
http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/194/groo-the-game
$100 for both - not terrible, pretty sure ebay's prices are similar (I read somewhere Sergio was selling the last copies at conventions in 2006 for $60 for the pair).
Say's only shipping to U.S. though so you'd need to find someone there so send it to you.
If you keep your eyes open the occasional copy goes through ebay once in a while.
If anyone else knows of a source that ships international let us know!

Hey there,
I live in India. I've been looking for a set of the Groo Game and Groo
Expansion pack to play. I love card games such as Munchkin and I've been
long curious about the Groo game.
I've checked online sites through different countries, and even left saved
searches on each one for the game. I've even found someone selling the
expansion, but without the original game, it's kind of pointless.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Cheers
Aniceto

Hey guys. I have a piece of art that will be published in the Team Cul
de Sac book that is coming out later in June to raise funds for the
Michael J. Fox Foundation and to honor Richard Thompson who draws Cul
De Sac and is also fighting Parkinson's Disease. All the original art
is being auctioned off by Heritage Auctions and that money will also
go to the MJFF. Anyway, I'm letting you know that you can go bid on my
art here:
http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=510&lotNo=120
The auction will close June 10. The current bid for mine is $1, so you
could really get a bargain. You might like to look at some of the
other art as well by folks like Bill Watterson, Lynn Johnston, Mort
Walker and some young upstart named Aragon?s. See, it's not totally
off topic.
Chris

I met Sergio at Comic Con a couple years ago.? He had a few packs for sale, and mentioned that its been out of print for years.? Your best bet is to hope that someone scanned the cards & rules, posted them on the internet, and print them out (or pester Sergio to reprint them)
But honestly, if you have the rules, you can probably play w/ the expansion pack as is (just need some dice & a stand-in for Groo).? If the game takes forever, and you & your friends are pulling out their hair as Groo levels every town, then your having the same experience.
Cheers,
Alex
