Hi Folks!

As Usagigoya indicated, some bozo from Tomorrows contacted me years ago and I sent him dozens of scans of Spanish Groo covers and other not generally seen Groo stuff and they never did the magazine issue dedicated to Sergio. First it was because Will Eisner died so they were going to do the issue for him, but then Sergio's issue just never happened. I do not remember who the bozo was, BUT it was NOT Eric Nolen-Weathington (I wouldn't forget a name like that) so maybe that's a good sign.

Take care all,

Gary Glenday-Grossington

PS: Mark would be the first to tell you that their should be a law against him wearing spandex. And perhaps there is...

So evidently multiple people have seen my request for a Sergio featured book as I received this message as well:

Yes, I've not only considered doing a Modern Masters book on Sergio, I've even asked him.
However, at the time he had a Mad career retrospective in the works, and he didn't want to do anything that might conflict with it.
That book has been out for a couple of years now, so I'm planning on asking again soon.

Best,
Eric Nolen-Weathington
Editor, Modern Masters
