Well I haven't checked in for years so sorry I let down all those folk who were expecting me not to give them a lift to Groofest.
And hello Groo friends old and new from my new home in Amsterdam.

I'm glad I did finally get round to reading the lunacy as I have just ordered myself one of the new Groo posters. Thanks George!

>Hi Folks!

>Well, we survived another Con.  Sorry for no updates and sorry I can't do a fabulous report like The Kunster.   Trying to keep up with Sergio is quite a job!  Groo vs. Conan was a big hit.  We sold all 230 copies that Dark Horse brought and could have sold another 50 or more easy.

>The creation of the new amazing fabulous Groo poster was the brain child of long time Groopie and good friend George Karalias's and there are still a good number available, so you can still order one online at www.grooposter.com.  People were goggling at it in amazement all week.  What you can see online doesn't do the incredible detail and Tom Luth's incredible vibrant coloring justice.

>We had a great time.  It was really wonderful to see Sergio back to his old self after the last 2 years, (back issue and then hip replacement)  He is amazing for a man who is about to turn 77.  Actually, he is amazing for a man of any age!
>
>I missed seeing the regulars who either didn't want to deal with the hassle of registration or did not win the lottery that is registration.  But it was really good to see Kaytee and Adriel (aka Groosagi!)  I also got to see Groop e-mail creator Josh Jones, which is always fun.   I think maybe the Groop should shift attention from San Diego to a more accessible con, like WonderCon (currently in Anaheim) or Big Wow con in San Jose.
>
>One more thing.  It may be possible to arrange for the spectacular Available at the 2012 Con Only version of the IDW Groo book for the original price of $150.  The regular version (original price $100 I think) is sold out, although it seems to be available on ebay at various prices.   But apparently there may be some of the 250 Con Only books available.  If anyone is interested or you know of folks who might be, please let me know in a private e-mail.  It's the closest to the original art of a complete comic (and it's 4 of them, plus bonuses!) that any of us will ever own (except wolvergeek!)
>
>Anywho, we can look forward to NEW Groo for next couple years, plus Sergio Funnies will start up soon as will Groo reprints in big book form.  WhoHoo!!  Take care all,
>
