No release date. I don't know that they've even started working on it. All I know is it's supposed to happen.

 Hi Gary,

Is there any estimated release date for the Groo Archives? Will the Groo Archives also contain art/pages from Comic Con programs, Telegraph Wire, Scene Magazine etc.?

Hopefully they will include discarded front pages AND the rare 1986 print, which Stan posted years ago. :-)

Hi Folks! Kind of answers to various questions and also some thoughts:

Funnies hasn't started up yet because Sergio hasn't had the time. He's bummed about that, but Funnies will be back and from Dark Horse.

There will also be a Groo Archives, reprinting old Groo stuff and Groo art not seen by many, like original covers Spanish Groos and non-Groo publications.

The guy that did the Usagi Yojimbo figures told me he still wants to do Groo figures, but Sergio hasn't heard from him.

It's not a matter of funds needed. It's a matter of a manufacturer of X-type of promo product manufacturing one up tpo Sergio's standards and also paying Sergio an appropriate amount. (Kind of like the Groo Movie problem)

And I agree, the sales figures are disappointing, at least to me. I'm wondering if there are a lot of folks like Mark Brown who didn't know about them. I don't know what they were expecting.

I'm also wondering what the digital sales are. Maybe that's the difference.

btw, I am loving Friends and Foes! Take care all,

Seems Groo merchandise isn't exactly flooding the shelves, yet Groo fans are many and alot of swag is highly sought after since it was produced in low numbers...ie: ornament card game etc.
The last big swirl of activity was over the new posters. What if some of these guys who actually have contact with Sergio asked him to donate something as a prize for a contest, or better yet a Groo funded kickstarter for something new and exciting (I'd like to see an actual posable Groo action figure)... What say everybody???
