I too had to get my comic guy to hold groo for me, as he wasn't buying any copies to sit on the shelf.... And if I wait for several issues before I buy frommycomicshop.com, I run the risk of missing out on early issues selling out... On Gary's news, That archive of other Groo stuff sounds good indeed. I statues will be pricey, but they looked awesome..... I kinda doubt we will see them.....pitty. I never thought about digital sales, I wonder if many people get digital copies. I've only ever done it once and for groo (just to say I got one groo as digital)....wasted my money, I never read it.....I read the paper version... Oh poor Alex, spilling water on your groo.....need we say the obvious.... But a complete set of epic groo always pops up on ebay, ranging from 200 to 450....which for 120 comics, is ridiculous value. I know some folks wait for the trades. The Groo vs. Conan trade did not have an original wrap around cover like they usually do. However, the Friends & Foes trades will all have original art wrap around covers. ( I always buy 2 so I can see the whole piece of art.) Of course, I never wait for the trades. For me the covers and the splash pages alone are worth the price of the comics. (Plus how can I possibly wait for new Groo!!)
