<DIV>Had a great time at San Diego, as usual. We all really missed Gary and
Larry at the Groo panel but I think Mark missed you guys the most. He simply
could not believe that Gary missed a Groo panel. Thanks for the neat pictures
Eric, and the "did I error?" badge. It's the second one I've got from you. The
Groo, fast draw compition and the voice actors were very good panels, but the
best one that Mark hosted was the Kirby panel when Stan Lee came in and
joined the group as Mark was interviewing Stan's brother Larry Lieber.
It was awesome to see Stan and Larry togeather on stage. Stan was teasing Larry
about giving him all the lousy jobs so Stan wouldn't be accussed of favoritism.
Larry did it all. And very well too. Some how I never really saw, or
thought about Larry's massive contribution to the field of comics until Stan and
Mark pointed it out to me that day. What a great panel. That's why I go to San
Diego. You never know what you'll get to see and hear. It's a very big place
with anything and everything going on all at once. In about 3 hours, on one day,
I saw:Stan Lee,Sergio Aragones,Rowdy Roddy Piper,Halle Berry,Gary Grossman,Rob
Zombie,Rob Van Dam,Jim Lee,Larry Stellar, Scott Shaw, the Tomb Raider chick,
David Carradine and (a personal friend) John-the drummer from System of a Down!!
Wow!! oh yeah........one of my hi lites.....I got to meet the guys who do the
mini marvels book. Yeah!! See you all there next year. Chris
