<DIV>Guess what he got me for my birthday!!!!!!!!!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Apparently, while we were in San Diego, Elie snuck around behind my back
and got EVERYONE on the Groo Crew to draw me penguins! On top of
drawing a penguin, they each put in their Groo Specialty. Stan's penguin
is hyper and flapping its flippers, and he also lettered "Happy Birthday,
Janet!" all across the top of the page. Sergio's penguin is holding a
flower and has a little heart over it's head and a smile on its beak. Tom
drew his Rockhopper (punk penguin, as seen in Usagi Yojimbo) saying "Hey,
Baby!" and colored it in watercolors. ME drew a penguin in a bow tie
waving and even included penguinal dialog (the penguin is saying "Hi,
Janet!").</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Elie then extracted the page from our sketchbook and had it framed
in a very pretty turquoise frame that matches the colors in Sergio and
Tom's penguins.</DIV>

<DIV>I am married to the most wonderful, thoughtful person! He got the
ENTIRE Groo Crew involved in creating a perfect one-of-a-kind present.
Also, the entire Groo Crew kept the project under wraps while we were
there. Even though I saw each of them after Elie went around to get
the sketches, not one of them even let on that they knew what I was getting,
much less that they had a hand in it.</DIV>

<DIV>By the way, do you have any idea how high this sets the gift-giving
bar?</DIV>
