<P>Not to nitpick but if you take the one south you end up at 12th/Imperial station where you need to transfer to the Trolley Blue Line if you want to go to San Ysidro (the station at the border which has adjacent to it one of the largest McDonald's you will ever see).</P>
<P>Look at the map: <A href="http://www.sdcommute.com/Rider_Information/trolley/trolleymap.asp">http://www.sdcommute.com/Rider_Information/trolley/trolleymap.asp</A> </P>
<P>And in true Groo fashion the other alternative is to go north and transfer to the Blue Line at one of the dowtown stations the two lines share to go south.</P>
<P>Opps-July 9 the entire Trolley system is realigning when the Mission Valley extension opens. Which is just a week before GrooFest. Maybe I have Grooed </P>

<DIV></DIV>>Yep. About 20 minutes to the border vs 2 hrs to the largest Mexican community
<DIV></DIV>>outside of Mexico City..... Of course, getting back north of the border takes
<DIV></DIV>>a bit longer than crossing over to the south.
<DIV></DIV>>You don't even have to drive-- the trolley goes from downtown to the border,
<DIV></DIV>>so all you'd have to do is wallk across Harbor Dr from the Convention Center
<DIV></DIV>>to the trolley stop over there, and take the one headed south.
