Hi Folks!

Well, I finally was able to read all the Groo Mail that has been collecting
in my Inbox and in my continuing efforts to NOT be the top poster for something
like the fourth or fifth year in a row I'm going combine most of my largely
pointless and definitely dated two Kopins worth of comments to this one post.

So for those of you who have not already reached for your delete botton, here
goes:

Groop Stuff:

Most importantly, Shawn! A big fat CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of a new Groo
fan! (And as happy as I am for you, no, I am not sending an article of Groo
Clothing as a baby present.)

Anil! Welcome back! I'm not sure what you missed because I'm not sure how
long you've been away. I can send you a 2004 San Diego Con Disabled Services
Booklet with Groo on the cover if you want. Speaking of which...

I sent one to everyone I had a record of asking for one except for No Way,
pfbo_2000, and Rene. I couldn't find address for the first 2 and Rene asked
about a month ago. (Sorry Rene, I'll get it out soon!) If anyone else wants one,
just let me know, I have a bunch!

Also, if anyone is interested in the Groop Membership cards, let me know. How
much they cost will depend on how many people sign up.

Hey Kaytee! Way to go on getting in the Con Update. btw, I get 5 of them
because everyone in my family has gone to the Con somewhere along the line and
apparently they don't purge their mailing list very often.

That http://www.frappr.com/groo site is
pretty cool. I have signed on to it, as have 25 other Groopies. I love
everyone's pictures. (I don't know when that photo of Josh was taken, but his
hair is A LOT shorter these days!)

I'll sign up for the forum shortly. That sounds cool too, although it could
turn out to be like the Groo Chatless Line.

I guess we should have made a bigger deal about the 10th
anniversary of the Groop. I didn’t join until 1997, but started getting really
crazy about collecting Groo in 1995. I read about the Groop in Groo Grams, but
it took me a couple years to figure out what to say the Elves who make a
computer work.

Off Topic: Janet, how many times have you watched the Penguin movie?

Also Off topic: Hey, Did you guys know Larry is at the center of the King
Kong fandom Universe? He got to go to the Premere premere and the cast party
afterward! It’s not Groo, but it is about an unstoppable force that destroys
villages and yet some of us still love him. Close enough. I want to hear all
about it Larry!!!

Groo Stuff:

Mark! Did you find out anything about the status of Groo: The Game?

Oh, I meant to ask you this at the Con. You, or someone, mentioned something
awhile back about finding a director for the Groo Movie. I always assumed you
would be the director of a CGI/Animation Groo movie what with all of your
experience in cartoon directing. What is the reason you are not directing it?

I have ordered my Groo Statue through my comic book shop rather than directly
cuz it costs me the same and then my comic book shop friends get a piece of the
action. I think I better order two.

There was some Sketch Card talk a bit back. Yes, the $600 is a standard price
and other than that, I don’t want to talk about it!

Sergio’s Weekly World News cartoons started May 2, skipped May
9th, although the answer to May 2’s is in there, and he has had one
in every week since. The Groo appearances have picked up. There have been 4:
October 10, November 7, November 21, and December 12.

It’s curious that Graphitti Designs is selling the Groo 20th
anniversary T-shirts again. They came out in 2002, Groo’s 20th
anniversary. They ran out of them back then, so they must have reprinted them. I
hope they paid Sergio & Mark whatever a reprint is supposed to have cost
them.

And I DON’T have a list of all the running gags. I think I started something
like that, but Like Chad, I only got so far. We Groo fans have short attention
spans…What was the question?

Oh, and that reminds me, shouldn’t we be telling Seth or someone to print a
route so they can find there way to work? Or something like that?

OK, enough of this

Take care all –Gary G.
