<P>I agree, Ryan. I'm pretty jealous and territorial about Groo (and my MAD Marginals . . . and my other Sergio-produced friends . . .). I've turned a lot of people on to the Groo comic but it would lose some of it's specialness if all at once, the whole world jumped on our secret bandwagon. Of course, I'll support Mark and Sergio if the film is ever made but I also really respect Bill Watterson's decision to have Calvin and Hobbes exist ONLY as a strip (the pressure from the syndicates to license Calvin and Hobbes become so overwhelming that he stopped doing the comic). </P>
<P>Like you, I'm also wary of the voice casting. With the exception of the Peanuts characters, most voices given to previously exlusively illustrated characters just don't sound right to me . . .</P>
