You may have noticed recently Carl Barks' estate has been sold off by the family--the big stuff in an auction at a big-time firm and the smaller stuff via a series on auctions (I think on Ebay). <BR> <BR>There was some hope items of use to understanding Barks (work records and the like) would be made available via donation to a university or some such. No such luck. It was all sold. The family kept nothing, they just wanted the money.<BR> <BR>Bring new meaning to those "estate sale" signs you sometimes see posted on electric poles...<BR></body>
