opportunity for all of us to get together? I think we should ALL go to <st1:City
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Calgary</st1:place></st1:City>! Just think of
the fun we’d have. Two hundred or so of us all raiding the refrigerator
at midnight; arguing over who’d get the bathroom next; sitting around the
kitchen table while Conor made us scrambled eggs. I’m sure his roomies
wouldn’t mind. It’ll be a blast! We can even help him straighten up
that messy place. Two hundred or so people all pitching in will make short work
of it. I think it’s genius! Hey Connor, stock up on soft drinks and
Cheetos! We’re on our way! Who’s up for it?<br>

and, frankly, I'm still a bit in shock at the fact that both Sergio and Mark

I managed to meet each of them (along with Stan, Tom and you too, <st1:City
w:st="on">Gary</st1:City>) for a few seconds at the 2007 <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">San Diego</st1:place></st1:City> Con, and even though the encounters
were brief, they were eye-opening. At the time, I was just entering art school
with aspirations of making comics for a living myself and so meeting the guys
who had created the comic I grew up on made all those dreams seem...just a
little bit more possible, heh heh. I'm absolutely thrilled that they're coming
here. <br>

Incidentally - if any Groopie was thinking of coming to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Calgary</st1:place></st1:City>, but doesn't have a place to stay,
you'd be welcome to stay at my place during the con (for free, obviously). I
live in a house with 4 other people in their early/mid-20's, so the place is a
little cramped and messy, but if you're okay with it, I'm okay with it, haha.
